In this unit we learned about different methods that have been used for years to teach foreign language but the unit focuses on the ESA method, Engage, Study, Activate. We learned different activities that can be used for each stage, we learned about the importance of knowing how to correct, and the difference between errors and mistakes. I have learnt a lot of useful techniques in this unit, I realized there are a lot of things that I haven't considered important before, like how to avoid making a student feel uncomfortable with corrections just by looking for the right moment to do it and the proper words. I also liked to learn about the ESA method because it gives us teachers an easier way to maintain the class entertained and learning at the same time.
