This unit focuses on teaching different groups of students and outlines what specific approaches the teacher should take to cater to their needs and challenges. This unit has taught me about teaching children and how to successfully plan the lesson to prevent it from being boring. I also have learnt about some advantages of teaching adult learners who tend to be more motivated and dedicates because they want to achieve a concrete goal, unlike children who are unafraid to make mistakes, but often do not think that learning a foreign language is important. Finally, the material presented in this unit had made it clear that teaching each group can be a truly rewarding experience if the teacher is willing to work together with the students and has a clear plan.
