Thanks to modernity, teachers have a large arsenal of resources available for use in the classroom. A simple board is most common, with only the teacher and a marker necessary to make it effective. Cassete tapes can be used to revord material beforehand as well as using other tapes, but CD players have largely replaced them in most classrooms. Computers can be highly effective but must not be used for too long a time period lest they become a distraction. Recording videos helps to show students where they are and how they sound. Dictionaries (especially english-english dictionaries) are one of the most useful tools a teacher can employ.
