Productive skills like receptive skills are worth equal attention. It is true that writing is more complex than speaking due to the pains it takes to write;spelling,penmanship,accuracy etc but speaking is not a walk at the park,accuracy and fluency are as well demanding.To strike a balance, the teacher must give this skills equal attention or risk moltivating the students to love one and dispise the other.Students talking time must in almost cases be more than the teacher's. From the ideas raised in this unit, I have come to rialise that a good topic in a comfortable environment aided by the teacher's moltivation will improve the students speaking skill. Also, constant practice and assignments on writting and group work will help the students on their writing skills.
