This unit covered the future tense. First, this unit explained that there are seven different future tenses. Future Simple tense is used to describe threats, and promises to name two uses. The future verb 'will' is used in a more firm way than the future verb 'shall'. Second, the Future Continuous tense is used to predict the present, and to refer to a fixed future event, to name two of its usages. Third, this unit explained that there are five more tenses including the be going plus infinitive tense that all have their respective usages. I have learned that present tense can be also used as future tense. I have also learned that since future tense is very complicated, lesson plans for the future tense should be creative to enable the student to learn this tense well.
