Teach English in Heshe Zhen - Hainan Shengzhixiaxian Jixingzh
It's a good refresher, though I noticed that there was no clear distinction remarked between ?progressive? and ?continuous? verbs, and from what I?ve researched, there should be. It?s not actually that big of a difference, since their structure is exactly the same. However, a clear difference lies on their use. Progressive verbs are used when an action is currently in progress, but will not have a lingering effect, unlike continuous verbs. For example, when we say ?I am putting on clothes?, it is progressive; but when we say ?I am wearing clothes? , then the sentence would end up with a continuous one, since the action does not have an immediate conclusion. Hopefully, this information could help other learners like me.
