This unit was about how teachers should interact with students using gestures, their voice, eye contacts and how to establish a rapport with their students. I learned the value in keeping instructions simple and using languages below the students level so they will understand all explanations. Also, I learned the importance of when to use teaching talk time and when not to use it. There are also various working groups and seating assignments. The best seating assignment depends on the class size just as the size of the groups depends on the activity being assigned. I felt it was very important about establishing rapport with students as this rapport will allow students to feel comfortable and relaxed in the class and will encourage them to participate in class with ease.
