There were a lot of differences not mentioned on this quiz. He had his back to the class a lot while writing. He used the same example in sentences, only switching the subjective pronoun. I was a bit surprised that he had people speak out vocab names for so long, especially in the beginning. But I guess it is a way to engage and to transition smoothly into the study section. Also, I found it interesting that he focused such energy on \"can\" and \"can't\" for such a long period of time. But as the Activate section came up, I realized that it seems Thai people must not have a hard \"T\" sound in their language, as it was hard for them to say. This gave the teacher many opportunities to emphasize that the hard \"T\" sound determines a critical part of the meaning of a word.
