Teach English in DiaoluoshAn XiAng - Hainan Shengzhixiaxian Jixingzh
The most important part in this unit for me was the usages of the present tenses. Present perfect and present perfect continues usages in particular. Those are the present tenses that are more commonly used by the natives and can be confusing and challenging for a non native. This unit made it more clear that both tenses are used to express an action that happened in the past and still continues or have just finished. Using the correct form also will emphasis a completed action or its continues effects, if it is a desired result or has an emphasis on undesired effect. An example of this situation can be \"I have cleaned the house\" and \"I have been cleaning cleaning the house, that's why I am so tired.\" The usage of the correct tense changes the meaning and the emphasis.
