This unit teaches about Phonolgy and pronunciation. It covers how to master a more natural way of speaking the English language by explaining the importance of intonation, rhythm and stress within one's language use. It provides explanation on how to recognise all three aspects, how to practice and how to teach them to students. Besides that this unit also talks about joining sounds and linked speech that make part of the everyday life spoken English language. And last but not least this unit introduces us to the International Phonemic alphabet, which is a separate alphabet to learn but once learned it is of great use in understanding correctly how to pronounce words. This unit was something completely new for me, so I've learned about Phonology and everything going with it.
