Unit 9 introduces and explains the fundamentals of a lesson plan. When a teacher is creating a lesson plan there are several functions that go into creating and planning one. For instance, the teacher will need to first think about what they would like to achieve by the end of the lesson, how they plan to achieve those goals, and be able to think out all the different steps that will go in their lesson plan. From there they will have to create their lesson plan so they have something to refer back to while they?re teaching that particular activity to their students. This also helps the teacher stay on track with the lesson. Lesson plans are also used for teachers to track as well as record how the lesson went with their students, if it was a successful activity or not.
