First, this unit explained what a good teacher is. A good teacher is not only concerned with teaching the material, but also concerned with the student. Second, this unit explained what a good student is. A good student is willing to learn, willing to experiment, willing to participate, and willing to put forth effort on their own. Third, this unit detailed the different roles of a teacher and their importance, while also looking at the differences of adult students and youth students. Fourth, this unit developed the different reasons and motivations that both adults and youths have for learning English. Finally, I have learned that a good teacher is a caring teacher, that both adults and children need different kinds of motivation to succeed, and that teaching requires planning.
