Understanding conditionals has been easier for me than previous grammar units. Conditionals make logical sense to me. However, I can see the problems arising with having to teach this to students. Although it is common for us to use these conditionals on a daily basis, I can see how the multiple changes in sentence structure may cause a number of problems when teaching this point. I also found the suggestions for teaching ideas useful. I assume that it will be a difficult task to know at first, what difficulty level is required to teach what level of students. Clearly, teaching this point will be for more advanced students. I am struggling a little with understanding how I would structure an ESA lesson around this and feel I would require further reading to help me in that regard.
