This unit teaches us the different methods and ways to evaluate and test our students' levels and progress. We learn about the four different methods of evaluating students- with tutorials, evaluation by students themselves and tests. We learn about the different tests that take place - placements tests, progress tests, diagnostic tests and practice tests. All which have their own role and position throughout the course. We look at the general external examinations that take place and what they are used for. We also look at the many Cambridge Assessments and how they can help foreign language speakers prepare for English studying, working and living.
