This unit presents the different types of (groups of) students the teacher may have: from children to adults, from groups to individuals. According to the target of students, the teacher will have to set up his/her lessons specifically: this affects the choice of activities, contents, teaching methodology and approach, material, etc. The unit gives a broad overview on they many categories of students and English-types to be taught, underlining pros & cons, Does and don'ts and suggesting how to deal with each one of them. I personally found it very useful, especially the section dedicated to company on-site lessons which I am not very familiar with.
