This lesson was about teaching methodologies and techniques. It started off with some ways a teacher can use to teach students like grammar-translation, PPP, task-based, etc. After that ESA was covered. This is an important aspect for new teachers/trainees to follow because it provides lots of flexibility and feedback for both the teacher and the students. There are different types of ESA methods such as straightforward ESA, boomerang, and patchwork and in all of these methods elicitation is one of the main components. I was given some useful examples to help me better understand the different ESA methods and learned the best way to correct a student.
