In this unit we learn about the teaching of the two productive skills - speaking and writing. Both are equally important but many students find writing more difficult. We learn the difference between accuracy and fluency activities. We learn how to do speaking activities in the classroom, how to encourage students to speak and interact. We get shown a typical free speaking activity lesson which is helpful. We learn about writing skills and the important components. We get given a demonstration of a typical creative writing activity. We learn the importance of games in a classroom and get given a list of games which we can use in our future classrooms.
