This unit again opened my eyes up to parts of speech I have never thought in depth about before, but may be hard for English learners to grasp. I found conditionals interesting as each way of forming them (first, second etc.) make the meaning behind them completely different. I found the reporting speech section thought provoking as I feel this is not something I use much in my every day life, however on refection I suppose I do - just not so much in the third person. I really apprentice and learn from the teaching ideas in this (and other) sections. They give me a clear idea about how I can get these parts of speech across to a classroom of students.
