I found this unit to be one of the harder units especially trying to understand the phonetic alphabet and how phonetics work however i think i got there in the end. I think this unit will be one to refer to again and again for clarification. I found it interesting to learn about all different techniques to use to make teaching effective in the classroom. This being on of the main parts of learning the English language i believe should be used more often and emphasized more in lesson time. It was good to learn about intonations as i hadn't heard of this before however as a native speaker use this all the time in conversation but we take it for granted.
