This unit highlights what makes a good teacher and a good learner. Good teachers fluctuate different levels of involvement depending on the activity and allows for the students to work independently. I learned that the teacher doesn't always need to correct the students in all stages of a lesson, but instead should allow the students to work through these issues independently and encourage self-learning. Students come to learn English for a variety of reasons such as career opportunities, travel, and to live in an English speaking country. A good student should show a general interest in the material and should accept their errors and learn from them.
