When teaching vocabulary, the teacher must take into consideration the ease with which students can learn the vocabulary and what students need to know about the vocabulary. When teaching grammatical structures, the teacher must take into consideration the level of the class and what students need to know about the grammatical structures. When teaching language functions, such as inviting, the teacher must take into consideration the appropriacy of the language.
