In this unit, I learned how to deal with potential issues in the classroom. These issues can come from being in large classrooms, being of different levels, or by not establishing rapport at the start of the course. As a result, students may not want to participate or they might want to resort to their native language. This lesson had several ideas on how to overcome these potential issues. One idea that was mentioned several times was the use of pair work, which will ideally keep the students engaged and helps prevent behavioral problems. The main point I learned from this lesson was to establish rapport and to keep the class exciting for all students.
