Teach English in Nanma Jiedao - Ha'erbin Shi — Harbin
Unit 6 was on the topic of the past tense. There are four forms of it. The past simple can be used for past actions when the time was asked or given. The past continuous tense is used when a past action was interrupted, expressing an action that began before and probably continued after, and when describing a gradual development. The past perfect is used for finished actions and is similar to the present perfect tense except in the past. Finally, the past perfect continuous is used to talk about past actions that have been continuous for a long time up until the moment it is thought about. This unit was a much-needed review of the four past tense forms.
