In this unit we look at modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. We look in detail at the modal auxiliary verbs- what they can be used for, how they should be used and the different ideas that they can express. We look at the common errors made by students and some fun teaching ideas. We look into the differences between passive and active voice; their forms, usages and exactly when and how to use them. We learn about relative clauses and their different categories. We then learn about the three types of phrasal verbs - they can be tricky to use, but with plenty of activities and practice they should become easier to understand; for the students and us.
