This unit talked about conditionals, the use of \"if\" to refer to past, present, and future possibilities, and direct and reported speech. In the section about conditionals, there are 5 different conditionals statement (zero, first, second, third, and mixed) that differ from one another in the use different tenses and reference to time. Direct and reported speech differs in the sender and receiver of a message. Consequently, the phrasing of a direct and reported speech according to verb tenses, pronouns, patterns, questions, time expressions, etc. differ as well and it is important to introduce these new concepts to students slowly and one at a time.
