This unit was the most helpful one so far-- to be able to see two examples of teaching in a classroom was very eye-opening and gave me some great ideas about how I want to conduct myself as a teacher in the classroom. I need to remember to always bring a smile, positive energy and a loud, slow voice. Its very important to engage your students and make sure that you don't discourage them, include everyone and make sure that everything is explained and understood! Also it was very helpful to see an ESA class in action-- to see the teacher in the second lesson tackling misunderstandings and encouraging participation. All in all it was a very helpful lesson.
