Unit 19 covers the teaching of special groups. The types of groups involved range from the bare bones beginner with no understanding of the alphabet, which may be a child or an adult, to the adult businessman that has some grasp of English already but needs to improve his skill set in a particular aspect of his/her job. The unit covers the many different methods and techniques for teaching the various groups as well as possible problems to be aware of and avoid. Teaching of individual students is also covered, and many suggestions for success and differing activities for said group, are covered. I found this chapter to be one of the most valuable so far.
