Unit five discusses teaching themes. This is my favorite unit thus far. I find that using as many different ways to engage different students is the best way for all students to learn. The steps for the case study were enlightening. The order with which to complete the case study cycle reminded me of the ESA, as (after the introduction) you engage the students, teach the framework, students work, and presentation. I really enjoyed the use of games concept. An easy way to engage students in a teacher-student as well as a student-student environment. Students can even play the game at home with family so everyone becomes part of the learning experience.
