The key objective of this unit was about how to teach modal, phrasal verbs and passive voice in grammar. First I learnt the basic rules of modal auxiliary verbs and their uses in past, present and future tense. Secondly I learnt about passive and active voice and how to form them properly, again within the tenses. Thirdly I learnt about the three categories of relative clauses, which are independant, dependant and relative. We also looked at a few examples of pronouns in defining and non-defining relative clauses. Finally I learnt about phrasal verbs and the basic types, Type 1- Intransitive, Type 2- Transitive separable and Type 3- Transitive separable.
