In this lesson I have learned about the importance of teacher attitude in class. Coming to class with an enthusiastic and positive attitude is very important for student success. It is also important to congratulate positive student participation and enforce correct answers, while remaining encouraging and supportive in response to incorrect answers. It helps to have students provide name tags so that the teacher can call on students at random, keeping them all engaged and participating. I did wonder why the teacher in the second lesson taught so many obscure animal names, such as specific birds. It seemed a bit confusing for students and not very useful.
