In this unit, we delved into class management, starting from the teacher's gestures, voice and overall personality when dealing with students, to arranging the classroom, grouping students, best ways to give instruction and how to tackle behavioral problems. I learnt that the position of a teacher in the classroom and the amount of of eye contact have a lot to do with making the students feel comfortable and being able to build a rapport with the students. Each class will be different, depending on their ages, nationalities and personalities but as long as the teacher allows the student enough room to grow, they will enjoy and learn more from the teacher.
