Watching the two videos showed a great example of how important a teacher's body language and tone of voice they use has an impact on the class and lesson. Video 1 was very discouraging. It made the students not want to answer questions because they were being shot down and not encouraged. The teacher also looked like he did not want to be there which in turn made the students feel the same way. Video two, the teacher was very engaged. He followed the ESA and got the students involved. I noticed him doing a drilling exercise during the study phase. Video two was a great example of ESA being modeled and how following through with it can be very successful.
