This unit gave an overview about pronounciation - about intonation, word stress, articulation, phonetic alphabet. It was interesting to learn that many students find this the most difficult part of learning english. There were some helpful tips about learning - such as the intionation exercises, and the stress exercises. If students have questions about this now I have better tools to answer them with. The diagrams of the mouth and phonetic alphabet were good to have now as a reference which I can refer to in the appropriate context. Intonation and pronunciation carries meaning and is important to cover, perhaps in a whole lesson or in a slot in a lesson.
