Teach a new language in a balanced way and teachers can easily apply ESA methods to start teaching a new language. Vocabulary and grammar are of course two of the most important components of the language especially at the early stages. Vocabulary differs from the grammar teaching method in that there is not a general consensus about the structure or what words to be taught at early stages and what words after. And for that extent we can find in this unit some criteria to follow which includes spelling, pronunciation, and interaction among others. For grammatical structures follows a less complex path as students need to know the meaning of the language, how it is used and how the grammatical form is said and written. The language functions instead teach the appropriate use of the language in terms of the kind of language used like formal or informal.
