This unit was about the lesson materials which I am familiar with. Visual aids could be pictures and photos which students can see it with their eyes leading to a quicker understanding for them. Worksheets and workcards should be made durable so it can last. Make sure to check the electronic devices such as videos and cds before using them in the class which are excellent to create motivation for students. Dictionaries are useful for students to check the meaning and pronunciation through biolingual dictionary but should not let them overuse it. I reviewed coursebooks which are in three series. Student book are used in the class, workbook is for the study phase, and teachers book is for the teacher to use in activate phase. One of the disadvantages using the coursebook would be that teachers and students could get accomodated with the lesson and tends to rely too much on the book leaving both the student and the teacher uncreative and uninteresting. On the other hand, the coursebook could be helpful for new teachers and most students expect the use of coursebook.
