After reviewing this unit, I have a more formal understanding of teachers and students. Although it may seem as though some elements of \"being a good teacher\" is common sense (for example, being kind and patient, as well as having a passion and love for teaching), they are nonetheless imperative to the success of a student's learning experience with a teacher. The nine roles of being a teacher was a section that I pondered on the most. I tried to understand the degree of flexibility, mutability, and adaptability that is required of a good teacher in order to successfully manage a classroom and its students. Understandably, teachers must be aware of the age and language level of their students in order to modify their teaching approach, which is why it is constructive to have a formal understanding of young learners versus adult learners. Thorough comprehension of the \"language levels\" will allow teachers to modify the pace and style in which they teach, which will in turn determine the motivation of their students, and their success in learning a new language.
