The productive skills which are the speaking and writing are both used to communicate. Most students don't like writing, so in many ways, writing is the most neglected skills as most learners just want to be able to understand and speak, so mostly writing is done or given as homework. But learners should know that writing is the more difficult skill, because it requires a a degree of accuracy. When speaking, any misunderstandings or mistakes can be cleared up on the spot whereas this is not possible in writing. Speaking on the other hand, requires a greater degree of fluency as the speaker will rarely have time to think and plan an answer. Communication is very complex, so if the teacher wishes to introduce a communicative activity to the students, the teacher should teach some factors like, the learners should have some communicative purpose, the learners want to say something, the learners want to listen something and the learners are interested in what is being said. So here I learned that a teacher must create the need and desire in the students to communicate.
