There are different opinions on what qualifies a good teacher, with some examples such as loving to teach, lively and entertaining, motivate learns, etc. There are certain roles that a teacher takes over when they are teaching a class. The role of Manager or Controller is where the teacher is in charge of the class, often in front of the students giving explanations or reading aloud. Another role is a Tutor, this is a more personal role where the teacher will go one on one if a student is needing help while working on a assignment or activity.
