This was another very good Unit. One of my favourite ones, as it offers a lot of tips or suggestions on how to teach certain groups. Many things read I was able to relate to my own experience this far. It also offered some interesting facts about Business English courses and things to be aware of while teaching and for class preparation. From my own experience I can tell, that teaching young learners can be rewarding but also difficult at times. I can also confirm that one-on-one lessons are, in my opinion, the most effective, as I can fully concentrate on one single person at a time. That also gives me the opportunity to find out their weaknesses and strengths fast and correct them if necessary. There are many students out there that have problems with the language, mostly with the oral part. They just don't dare to finish as they are afraid of wrong pronounciation. This, for example, is an issue that cannot always be solved in class, so again, I consider one-on-one lesson to be one of the most effective and rewarding for the student. Because, in order to learn a language, it must be applied (spoken) as much as possible. And many non-native English speakers do have a problem with this. 1-on-1 training is a great opportunity to fix those issues I guess.
