Unit 19 covers the teaching of different kinds of groups: beginners, individual students, children, business English, monolingual and multilingual classes. Beginners can be divided into different subgroups: the absolute beginner, the false beginner, the adult beginner, the young beginner, and the beginner without the Roman alphabet. Teaching individual lessons provides some benefits: the lessons are designed for the students' necessities, students are highly motivated, allows a closer relationship between teacher and student, etc. Children learn fast, but their attention span is short. They demand varied activities and enjoyable classes. One-to-one, in-company group, and in-school group are different kinds of business English classes. Business English students are called clients; their ages range from the early twenties to mid-fifties, clients with different language levels may be grouped in the same class. Students usually attend to monolingual classes in their home country. Peers speak the same mother tongue. Unlike multilingual classes, where students come from different nations and take classes in an English speaking country. Each group introduced in this lesson has advantages and disadvantages, therefore special needs that require the teacher's attention.
