The second unit of this course contains a very valuable content regarding understanding language and mainly parts of speech which build up the structure of language. Adjective is a word used to attribute a noun such as big. Adverb is a word used to characterise a verb and we can mention for instance slowly. Articles are also words which define a word to specific or unspecific category and are confined to a, an and the. Preposition is a word used to link nouns, pronouns, or phrases to other words within a sentence and a preposition can be of time such as at or place like under or movement like into. Moreover, a conjunction is a part of speech that is used to connect words, phrases, clauses, or sentences and it can be coordinating or subordinating one. In a nutshell, the content of this unit is very well designed so as to develop the linguistic part of teachers for the sake of being a good teacher as a model.
