After watching two videos, I highlighted the difference between effective and ineffective teaching. The teacher?s attitude, teaching style and manner were awful in the first lesson. The teacher just asked students not trying to elicit the information. Nobody could understand him and the teacher behaved in a way as if the students knew the topic and they must have answered his questions, but they didn?t know. He spoke using difficult words which students obviously didn?t understand. He used in his speech ?interrogative form? instead of ?question form? and so on. The teacher asked if the students had any questions. The woman asked but he didn?t answer immediately. He said that he would tell her later. When students were doing exercises, the teacher was reading his book! He crumpled a sheet of paper and threw it on his table. He was an arrogant and negative person. I think nobody should be like the teacher in the first lesson. At the second lesson, there was a wonderful transformation of the teacher. Mark behaved differently. He was always smiling. He was enthusiastic and positive. There was a wonderful atmosphere in the classroom. I think the second lesson is a perfect standard of how the teacher must conduct lessons. I liked the second lesson very much.
