Unit 6 has 2 ESA videos to demonstrate the classes. Starting off with video 1, you could already tell there were so many mistakes. The teacher in the class did not have a warm welcome for the students nor gave his own introduction. The teacher wasn't interested in knowing the students as well. Getting in the lesson, theres was no introduction of what they were going to learn or to do and he simply just asked the the students to answer him. Theres was no hints provided to the students and he kept mentioning that it was too easy and that they should already know the answer which made the students even more scared to try because they didn't want to look bad in front of the teacher with a wrong answer. The teacher then went on to write down the answer on the board without any explanation and had his back to the students without any communication. I also figured out that the teacher did not seem to pay much attention to capitalise all of the first letters in a sentence nor his grammar mistakes. His speech was discouraging, not fluent and his voice had no emotion to it. The teacher also did not come prepared- not prepared with class materials or questions-answers related to it. He couldn't answer the student's question regarding the lesson which shows lack of knowledge. The activities were given no instructions and the activity to draw had no link to the class itself. However, in video 2 as soon as it plays you can see the teacher with a big smile on his face which brings an happy atmosphere in the class, he then carries on to introduce himself and ask the students to introduce themselves. The teacher starts off with an activity telling them to write down names of animals in pairs which is a good way to have interaction between students. He then moves on the asking them all what they have written. Body language was used in the next part in which he showed the actions such as walking, swimming and flying. It makes the class a bit more lively. The teacher introduces the students how they can use \"can/can't\". Students were more than happy to participate in the class and trying to answer even if they didn't know the proper words. There were flashcards of other animals to introduce the students to new vocabulary. There was a good amount of interaction between the teacher and the students. I think any good teacher will be able to tell the difference between video 1 and video 2 as soon as it plays.
