This unit was helpful because it introduced the concepts that illustrate the areas of student's cognition that must be affected by lessons. The explanation of receptive skills, reading and listening, is a good start in attempting to connect lesson planning to why teachers should plan lessons in a certain way.Being able to use equipment and teaching aids effectively is an important aspect of teaching. This unit gave great insight into the advantages and disadvantages, as well as the correct usage of equipment and teaching aids. I would be able to plan my lessons more effectively and make lessons more meaningful.
