Lesson planning is an important step in preparing a class. However, it is important to not to be too stuck to the lesson plan and allow for a fluid lesson. When planning the lesson a few things to consider include; Language points, teaching aid, worksheets, content of lesson, anticipated problems, and timing.In this unit, I learned about the different ways we listen/read in all kinds of situation. The lesson talked about for example, the difference in skimming an article to obtain general knowledge and skimming for specific information. I was given a great example of how to teach this, in our standard ESA format.
