This unit provided me with insight on the use of course materials while teaching English. I learned the general advantages and disadvantages of using authentic and created materials. I also learned that a good course book could be a handy guide as a new teacher. A course book, however, should be used flexibly and not strictly adhered to.This chapter discusses the differences between the various future tenses. The most difficult portion of this unit is understanding the present and present continuous tense with future meaning. I know that if I have a difficult time wrapping my head around the concept, I will need to take extra care in teaching this particular concept.
