In this lesson, we looked at what materials are available to help teachers teach effectively. We saw the pros and cons of using course books. We also learned the benefits of using authentic materials and materials created by the teachers. Overall, we were encouraged to use discernment and to have a balance in the use of our teaching tools.In this unit, Unit 16: Conditional and Reported Speech, I have learned the difference between reported speech and direct speech. I have learned how to change between the two and how each verb tense changes when the reported or directed speech is in use. I have learned the difference between ZERO, FIRST, SECOND, THIRD and MIXED conditional.
