This lesson covered how to create a lesson plan that is effective for your class. It talked about the importance of being flexible in your lesson planning as well as the importance of staying organized. I also learned what what things are important to consider when you are creating your lesson plan such as timing and the size of the class.This unit explained how to teach vocabulary, grammar, and functions to students learning English. I learned that students need a balance of all three. However, each TEFL lesson should usually include only one of the three. I also learned in this unit what students need to know when learning about vocabulary and when learning about grammar.
