This unit covers the 5 conditionals and indirect speech. The form and usage of the zero, first, second, third and the mixed conditionals are explained. Possible teaching ideas could be completing sentences, chain conditionals or the What a question (discuss moral dilemmas). For the indirect speech the change of tenses for the form is offered as well as teaching ideas.In this unit I learnt the form and usage of the four past tenses in English: Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect and Past Perfect Continuous. I learnt to identify the tense of the verb in a given sentence and explain why this tense is used in the given context. I believe that the content of this unit will help me answer my students' questions about past tenses.
