Basically, I grew up in South Korea where have been influenced by the Unite States since 1950s. Also, East Asia is obsessed with getting English certificates. Therefore, I thought I knew many type of External examinations but I could learn about Cambridge Assessment and Business English in this Unit. I learned also different methods to evaluate students newly as well.This unit is important because it describes how words should be pronounced and provided information on intonation and how to actually teach sounds. I found the phonetic script interesting as it showed how to sound out letter and word. I also found sound joining helpful, because often native English speakers join words or change the pronunciation of words altogether.
